Negley is a census-designated place in northeastern Middleton Township, Columbiana County, Ohio, United States. The population was 281 at the 2010 census. A post office called Negley has been in operation since 1883; today it bears the ZIP code of 44441. This vast area covers the communities of Negley, Lake Tomahawk, and Fredericktown. It lies along State Route 154.Negley is the site of the Youngstown and Southern Railway shop that is now used by the Youngstown and Southeastern Railroad.Negley originally was a mining community with a coal mine operated by the Powers Mining Company.
